Literacy Liberators: Prospective Students
Literacy Liberators partners with elementary schools in the Reynolds School District to find first through third graders who most need literacy support. Working with the SUN Program, we contact families directly and invite them to join our after-school program.
Student eligibility
- Attends Glenfair, Davis, or Fairview Elementary in the Reynolds School District
- In grades 1–3
- Reading below grade level
Students join every 7–8 weeks, in the fall, winter, and spring terms. If you think your child may be a good fit, talk with your school administrators.
How to become a Literacy Liberator
Community members who want to help young students fall in love with reading can apply to volunteer as tutors. All positions in our current cohort are filled. Future openings are posted on our Careers page.
